Any information about Xiamen's interview process would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Xiamen screening is a 2 phases (1 sim assessment, ATPL and medical check, 2 CAAC sim check)
Company sim assessment: take off, wind shear, steep turns, map failure, return to Xiamen VOR rwy05, go around Engine failure or engine fire/severe damage/separation, return Xiamen ILS rwy05 and land. Take off again and visual pattern two and single engine. All flight with 25 crosswind.
Medical check will be in Shangai: if you are healthy, no problem.
ATPL: study this website: www.feizhiyi.com. It's a theory online test. However you should get a step by step how to use from your broker.
2 fase CAAC check: I haven't done yet, but is very difficult, and 80% of my friends have failed.

Those sim profiles are pretty standard, no secrets.

However, the CAAC checks are not so standard.

The screening will cover the company check, ATPL test in Xiamen and CAAC medical check in Shanghai. If successful, you will visit Xiamen again for the CAAC simulator check. There is usually one screening scheduled every month. Good luck sevenfour744!

Hello @GJKS, thanks for the info. Do you have any info about how they treat foreign pilots in Xiamen airlines and how life is in the city of Xiamen. I am going to China in September and i want to go to visit the city and hopefully getting to speak to some of foreigns pilots who are already there.

Kind Regards

Enough information about what? Do some research. Your answers are not presented on a silver platter.

4 runner, not everyone has time to sit and troll pprune all day, some people do have lives and other interests, so if Good Job asks for information or anyone else for that matter just humour them and help...

Good Job, there is information on this forum under Xiamen 737 contracts that somebody kindly filled in with lots of helpful information, the rosters, flying, pay, expat communities and so on.
Good luck
