Rescuing climbers from the Everest Death Zone

Having seen the film Everest and being a PPL(H)(A) I've been trying to think how to get a person off the summit in an emergency or how to use drones (dropped in) to deliver oxygen. Then I found this, (use a simple harness) what do you guys think that fly mountainous areas, could it work? http://www.popularmechanics.com/military/research/a20006/bucket-drop/

Probably the best example of centripetal force I've come across, simplicity of it is amazing, however using it in the scenario you mention:

Flying a reasonably precise orbital flight path is fine in stable denser air at lower altitudes but at higher altitudes in mountains it's another ball game completely. Wave, rotor, katabatic/anabatic and shear spring to mind.
