B737NG PIC Contracts

New Years resolution for 2016--get back into flying after a 5 year gap. B737NG PIC current (Sim) under FAA. Waiting on the medical (April). Around 3500+ hrs PIC on the NG (700/800/900ER) with no accidents/incidents or violations.
Choices for contracts seem to be:

1. Fiji
2. Jet Airways
3. Rwandair
4. Ethiopian
5. Lion

Anyone with recent experience care to share their views. Thanks!

It's not easy to get current after a 5 year break but there's so much recruitment just now that you'll likely find something.. Good luck..

Yes, getting back after a 5 year gap is tough since most airlines and contract agencies are requiring last flight on type in seat (PIC) within the last 6-24 months (min to max). However, as the previous poster stated, the demand is increasing while the supply appears to be dwindling. Based on the posted requirements, all I need is a flight on type (ferry flight etc) to meet the requirement or a circuit around the patch since I have plenty of time on the
A/C (200/700/800/900ER).

An airline I worked for(2007) needed B737NG Captains rather urgently and was willing to take guys with any PIC Boeing time (B747,B727,B757/B767). The catch was they had to get their own type rating and sit in the right seat with a check captain for X amount of hours to satisfy the regulators.

Not in a big rush but exploring options.
