B737 is 6 days on (layovers) 1 day off. Spoke to a guy working there. All 737 guys hate it. The 757 is better, return to base basically every time and working about 12 days out of 20 if I remember correctly from my colleague working there ( he also confirms the 737 situation)

That's not good to here about the 737 sched. I have an interview coming up there. From the old post it seemed to be a good place to work. Is it changing now? How is the cockpit relations? any other comments or advice would be appreciated.
feel free to PM
thanks

Im on the 737. The 6 day trip is only for the HK pairing, which goes senior because the pay hr vs flight hr is very high. If you don't have family in China that's the trip you want. You can almost knock out 1/2 month of work in 6 easy days. If you intent to bring your fam to China then the 757 is more suitable because they have mostly out and back trips.

Pay is what advertised. never missed a payment, only good surprises. True there are lots of "reimbursement" items, but it is a non-issue. Its just a tax strategy on the part of the company. Im not saying its all rainbows and butterflies, it is what it is flying in a foreign land. But SF is usually not the source of our complaints.

For the 737NTR it says the type rating is a 737EFIS? I'm confused by that... does SF fly 737NGs now or still the 737-400s?

Is the captain time good for other carriers? Would love some info if someone is willing to PM

Can anyone shed light on what the average monthly block hours are on the 757/767?

Also what is the monthly take home AFTER tax? It's difficult to tell even having read the contract?

Also does the rental allowance get you something ****ty or decent? Single guy, only two bedrooms needed not a hacienda, access to pool and gym would be nice.

Looking for the same information. Can somebody post what their schedule looks like? How does the scheduling work for the 73?
