SQ424 - Turbulence While Landing

Any insights on the SQ424 incident, which experienced turbulence while landing at BOM on 18th Oct 2014?

8 PAX and 14 crew members were injured.

I'm sure booting the expats has nothing to do with the increase in incidences,

Reminds me of the 2010 Emirates incident over Goa.
