Yep siam air, already started china flights.
Avoid small start ups if you can or able to: R Airlines, they dont pay salary. City too...just to name a few of the dozen mushroom startups here.

It seems there's a huge exodus from one 767 operator in BKK to Thai Lion due to salary being always delayed or not coming at all. I just don't get Thailand. When dodgy one goes down, another dodgy one opens up.

Having worked for two companies here, I can give you a little insight as to why Thailand is the way it is, with small start ups. I'm leaving back to EU shortly.
You may end up working for people who call and threaten your family if you call in sick. You maybe put into a hotel sharing with 3 other people (men!!) on a layover, these start ups *R* the place to be!
If you want to work here, then get ready to be expected to bow and kiss the feet of the management who supposedly siphone money from Chinese investors, use it to purchase cars, however can't pay the salary of pilots or cabin crew. Office staff often get salary as they're showing face daily, the pilots can't do that cos there are so many defects on the aircraft, the DCA don't allow it to push.
With regards to these small start ups and paying salaries, it may be paid on time for a month or two, then do get ready for the Normal excuses that the cheque will clear tomorrow (Friday), then Monday comes with a whole more barrage of excuses. If you hand in notice, forget the salary for the months you wish to serve by your contract.
Thais by nature are pretty good people, however, in these small start ups, don't expect to be working under or with the most exquisite sort of pilots/staff. There are a lot of ex RTAF guys who run the show, as soon as they get into management positions, they bring their tribe in and you as an expat stand no chance.

Travel warning issued after budget airline delay
China's central tourism authority has issued a warning about Bangkok-based budget airline Jet Asia Airways after 235 passengers were stranded at the Thai beach resort of Phuket on their way to the northern Chinese city of Shenyang .
The China National Tourism Administration "recommends passengers choose this airline with caution", it said in a notice following the unexplained cancellation of a flight to Shenyang at the end of last month.
The notice also put the onus on travel agencies to book flights through "qualified suppliers" and to foot the bill should their customers' flights be cancelled while outside the country.
Despite lower fares, some mainland travel agencies said they were wary of booking with newer budget carriers. Jet Asia was established in 2009.
"China's biggest travel agencies seldom have cooperation with these low-cost carriers because we need to ensure stable and good prices and services for tourists," Ge Lei, spokesman at China Youth Travel Service Group, one of the mainland's three largest travel agencies, told the South China Morning Post.
"We see a growing demand for cheaper air travel in China, but ... we are still careful when it comes to new budget carriers."
Xinhua said in a report on Saturday that the company had experienced delays over the past six months. The Shenyang Evening News said the delayed flights at the end of September left passengers "eating instant noodles for 40 hours" and that Jet Asia compensated them with 300 yuan (HK$381) per head.
Requests by the Post for comment from the airline went unanswered yesterday.
Passengers on the mainland's domestic airlines often suffer long, unexplained delays.
Military exercises across the country's eastern seaboard in July caused widespread flight delays or cancellations for up to three weeks. The flight capacity of Shanghai's two major airports was cut by 65 per cent on some days.
Some delays to domestic flights have ended in brawls that were captured on video and later posted to the internet.

Sorry for deviating from the topic.Is it possible for a low hour pilot with a UK license to get employed in thailand as an FO?what about work permits and stuff?What is the process for vaildation of license?Or is it just reserved for locals?

To be blunt, you wouldn't be looked at... UNLESS you had a rating according to the airlines fleet, knew someone there who could help you in, and of course you've to be prepared to earn 1500 USD a month until the mushroom dies, which normally is within 18 months.

I agree completely with what chai ja said, especially post #7. If you want to know how these charters in Thailand operate, post #7 is everything in a nutshell.
Having worked for one of these mushrooms as well, I'm glad I left Thailand as soon as humanly possible. So beware what you are getting into. If you have any sense at all, do not bother coming to Thailand.
