from RP to Captain?! Dont think so, You will log P2 or relief time I assume, Wouldn't your career path be FO on 320 or FO on 330 first?

I know that most of the Airline companies recognize 3/4 of the hours on type logged as CRP which is good in my opinion!

@FCOM..

I agree with you in saying that there are thousands of foreigners that applied for the RP position, there is a lot of backlog, I'm not sure how many pilot they would need considering the next two aircraft will only be delivered Q2 and Q3 of next year, there is a surplus of local pilots in the market at the present time, they should get preference.

From what I know they are are phasing the recruitment to meet the need if and when they require new crew once their utilization grows.

All expat will be on local terms , they will have to pass the whole selection process just like the local pilots.

Interview and Process

Hi Guys,

Back to the main topic please. Can anyone provide any info on how the interview goes and how the hiring process be like?

If once they ask you to take the medical test, does that mean you have a big chance of getting the job?

Assuming you have passed all the other assessments including the sim, you should be okay.

Cebu 330 relief pilot

I think the main thing here is how long will it take to get the work permit, licence validation and how long will it take to begin to fly and get payed.
People say herev up to 6 months to get payed!!!
Is that real?? Can you stand that before ran out of money???
Any accurate details from actual CebuP pilot or CRP would be nice.

You will be paid training expenses during the CCQ. Since they have liaison officer with CAAP your papers will be processed in about a month.

Please understand that it is a LONG process from getting your initial invitation for a skype interview to actually getting on an aircraft. This is the first time they are doing this, hiring expat for RP on 330. Hopefully they will have an answer from the EU regarding the ban, if successful utilization can be further improved and hiring can continue. There is a lot going on in the pipeline for this company , it would be a good place to start but it is very competitive considering the state of local pilots.

My friend went through same process for ZestAir in 2010 which is same for Cebu Pacific.

1. Work permit took 2 months to obtain via agent in 2010.
2. License validation - 2/3 week's via CAAP Agent ( He had more than 200 hour's on RPC plane which he flew 4 years ago at the time of obtaining validation hence had to do few checkride's )
3. Cebu Pacific takes low time pilots on type but pay is in local T&C's only.

Very basic HR questions, be positive

Tech will be Systems, Limitations and Procedures.

Preference given to locals , all expats will be on local terms.
