Air Japan (AJX)

This is obviously a commuting contract. If your family would enjoy moving to the Sandpit then EK would be a more traditional airline job but don't know if they've closed the DEC pipeline yet. Of course, there's Korean as well; another commuting contract. Better route network than AJX, pay's a bit better and you'd be on the 777 but I don't think the days off are as good and it depends where in Deutschland you live for Korean's 'home base' commuting deal.

If you want you can have 5 job interviews in 5 mins of time on internet.

-Qatar Airways.
-Emirates.
-Korean.
-Jet Airways.
-Etihad.
-Scoot.
-Chinese Airlines.
-Vietnam.
-Aerologic.

If you upload your CV in any pilot brooker like Rishworth or parc Aviation, they will call you in less than 10 mins to offer you some jobs.

Regards.

yes, they do

They do for sure, Specially Emirates, Qatar and Etihad.

Go directly to the web pages and you will see.... I just check Etihad and i think it could be one of the best places. You can also try Aerologic in Germany, cargo airline flying B777F and Turkish is also looking for pilots.

good luck

I believe EY is looking for both type rated and non type rated 777 Captains . The no type rated ad was published in 12 June 2012 and is still open
The type rated ad for DEC was published on 7 June 2011 and is still open

I am quite sure they would welcome you with open arms since you are rated and have more than enough hours on type

Just google EY careers...

GESTAPO

Just let us know the outcome!

On the above list include Etiopian. Bottom feeder, but still a last option.

Auf wiedersen (sorry for the spelling)

Gestapo.....a guy with your experience shouldn't be unemployed.

How is it possible that a guy like yourself is without work ?

Avoid Ethiopian, as there is no pay other than $60 per day of per diem until all training is complete. Line training can take as much as 3 months. Bottom line, Ethiopian is getting the services of one pilot for free.

You may also wish to avoid Jet Airways too. They pulled a Chinese number. Terminated a bunch of expats 11 days prior to paying a Loyalty Bonus. Guess what... no Loyalty Bonus. What a shame... they were pretty respectable.

I also heard from a colleague that Jet airways no longer looks at expats. Any truth there?

There are expats in ground school for the B777. No idea the length of the contract being offered.

No expats remaining on the Airbus Fleet as of last week.

About 12 expats remaining of the B737 Fleet.

ATR Fleet reduced by about 15%.

I worked in China I don't know whether CS is good or bad. I do highly recommend Parc for this contract. I used to work for Rishworth once. only once. never again. I wish I had some info on CS but in most ways it is still China.

I managed to clear the KAL interview process guys. Finally. But after seeing what I did DURING the process am not sure if I would be able to settle there for 5 years.
Does anybody here have any intel into EY. I know they are hiring at present, but i've just been informed by my current outfit that they can't release me before mid next year. So I would be interested in applying sometime early next year.
As per their recruitment site they are currently open until 28th Dec 2012. Can ANYBODY confirm if they will open up next year to accommodate more applicants like myself please.
All replies would certainly be appreciated.
Thanks all.

Germanflyer, from what I hear they will be open most of 2013.
Most of my colleagues there are expecting ey to reopen in feb 2013. Not totally certain about the same though. Would be great if they put it up on their site.
Helps one plan ahead.
Did that help.
