hello folks,
If you have C172 endorsed on you licence, can you fly any model of C172(i.e. M, R, RG). I asking this because DGCA conducts different exams for different models but on the licence it only mentions C172.

I have query:
My type rating expires on B737 and CPL expires in October and November respectively. As i am renewing my type rating on B737 (24 to 36 months renewal) in September 2014.
1. Do I need to do separate flying for renewal of CPL? (CPL renewal requirement-GFT day and night, IR test....as these requirements gets completed during type rating renewal too)
2. Does CPL renewal has to be on actual Aircraft??....or Simulator can be considered towards renewal of CPL
Please reply.....its urgent

The draft has to be made in favour of "PAO, DGCA, MCA, NEW DELHI". But what if the renewal application is submitted at the Mumbai regional office, in that case, does the beneficiary remain the same? Cz this was given in the instructions of the Renewal Application Form:
IN CASE OF SUBMISSION TO REGIONAL OFFICES,THE DRAFT MAY BE
DRAWN IN FAVOUR OF "“ACCOUNTS OFFICER , RPAO (AS APPLICABLE ) ,CIVIL AVIATIONDEPARTMENT PAYABLE AT THE PLACE WHERE THE REGIONAL OFFICE IS LOCATED.
Also, are these two forms for different purposes, am I really mixing up 2 different forms here?
