Realtor all set to float new airline

Vijayawada: The Vijayawada-based Lingamaneni group, which has interests in the realty and infrastructure business on Wednesday announced the launch of a new airline, Air Costa.
Lingamaneni Estates Private Ltd, popularly known as LEPL, said that it had secured the go-ahead from the Union civil aviation ministry to operate flights in the southern part of the country. Air Costa could be the first airliner in the country to operate on the regional routes, particularly in tier-II cities like Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati. The new airlines will be headquartered at Vijayawada with the corporate offices located in Hyderabad.

has anyone here applied to them for the co-pilot's position and received any reply from them yet? any idea how many q400 they are starting off with and by when?

Applied but didnt get a reply till now and tried to call them to get some information but no one picked up the phone.

do you meet their requirement of 500TT? i certainly don't meet that requirement, but i just gave it a shot anyways, i hope they get back to guys with lower flight time than that

will be starting operation with 3 a/c's and expanding. They have received more than 650 applications out of which 14-15 are from guys already type rated on the q400.
