SRIWIJAYA AIR - Indonesia

Hi All,

Can anyone shed any light as to contacts for EXPAT pilot recruitment in Sriwijaya Air? I have received kind respones through PMs from my earlier posts, however none of the contact given were actually contactable.

Appreciate if anyone, especially if there are Sriwijaya Pilots reading this thread could give me contact details.

Many many thanks in advance.

SS

PM if you like.

Most carriers will not entertain email CV inquiries. The best method, other than inside contact, is to show up at the front door with cash in your hand. Though not an advertised norm, you can buy your way into most Indonesian Carriers. At first I was quite shocked when I was asked to cough up about 4000 Euros and I refused. Consequently, no job....but the guys right behind did and they are better off today.

So, ask yourself how bad you really want it and how much you are willing to pay. Don't go there with out a limit in mind. Just like buying something off the black market..if you don't know the value, you get hosed.

And did I forget to mention, you will be treated like a rabid dog?

That's the going market price for licence conversion. You should've felt privileged they didn't ask you US$32,000 for a TR. Looks like you missed your chance.
