Hi,
My RTR(P) lapses at the end of this year. I have obtained it with the help of my Australian CPL. I do have 30 hrs in the past few months. Do you recon that I can renew my permit by showing the same Australian CPL without giving ant part 1 or 2? The Australian CPL is valid life long.
cheers

If you have 30 hours in last 36 months, then you can submit your application not before 3 months from the expiration date of your current RTR, if you dont have those 30 hours, then you should go ahead and fill up the form for RTR PART 1 Only exam, clear it and you will have 2 options (5000 for 20 years and 10,000 for lifetime)...... hope this helps...good luck

canadian rtr in india
i am a trainee pilot in India, with all my dgca papers cleared except for the rtr.
i have been passing part 1 for quite some time now but part 2 is a problem .
so is it advisable or possible to go to canada get a canadian rtr from there and then apply for part 1 exam here in india..
since i am not a license holder will it be possible for me to do so ???

RTR (A) Renewal
Hello all,
I have RTR (A) valid upto Nov 2013. Can I renew my RTR by giving the upcoming Part 1 exam? Or do I need to give both the parts again?

I hope that you know that if you have 30 hrs of flying in the last 3 yrs, you can renew based on experience....... Actually, the flying does not even dual or PIC, it can be even as a safety pilot acting as a Radio operator and does not even have to be in India.....
It can even be in the USA .....
FOOD FOR THOUGHT.... read the regs....

Urgent
Hi all,
How does the WPC notify if there are any short falls in the RTR (P) Initial application, do they just ignore the application or make an effort to get in the touch with the applicant?
I my case I failed to send the passport size photographs with my application , I was wondering if I need to write a cover letter stating the same and attach the photographs with it or do I need to make a new application again.
Please advice.

The following list is attached with the admit card issued to candidates.

IA : Improper attestation of Date of Birth Certificate and/or other documents. To submit Birth Certificate attested by a Central/State Government Gazetted Officer or by a Member of Parliament or a Member of State Legislature, Sub Divisional Magistrate/ Offcer or Tehsildar.

They will send you a letter listing the shortcomings in your RTR(P) application. You can then send your photographs along with a cover letter and a copy of the shortcomings letter to WPC.
