Oh yeah.. the media just loves AI. Why the hell would a prominent news channel like NDTV want to publish news like this which is of no god damn use to any one.. So what if the a/c mowed down a deer? Does this same incident involving a Pvt. airline make news? No way. Nothing involving the Pvt. airlines is published in the news without the journalist consulting the airline PR.
Thank Got the article dint read AI puts passenger lives at risk or sum s*** like that. Aviation Journalism in this country is nothing but a big joke.

At least they are respectful to the RSPCA (sic) sentiments. Note no where have they mentioned the damage to the aircraft and treated that aspect as a non issue.

I am assuming 2 wild boars at approximately 90 kgs a each could do some damage to an aircraft!!!

Nagpur has a perennial problem of boars on the runway. Once we landed there at night, and as the a/c was slowing down there was a family of boars on the rwy shoulder. As soon as the landing lights gave their position away, they scurried off in to the grass.

Oh yes they do. Not only do they complain but the "AVIATION CORRESPONDENTS" at the news channel report bird hits as if it was a miracle that the aircraft hit a pigeon and landed back safely.

Typical headlines could be like... passengers have a narrow escape or passengers lucky to be alive after a bird hit etc.

These aviation correspondents are nothing but a bunch of cartoons who cannot differentiate between a C172 and a B747..

I would have to say that about 99 % of these journos are nothing more than either voice activated robots or inept writers who have no ability to think for themselves unless directed.

Calling these journos stupid is an insult to those who are just plain stupid.

News media hypes everything. Recently, in Delhi, an aircraft was cleared for takeoff. Upon reported birds on runway takeoff clearance was cancelled. At about two hundred feet AGL, we were instructed to go around. The media made it out as an ATC mistake, collision avoided, and quick thinking Jet Airways Pilot, saves lives. Simple go around we were heroes...Wooo Whooo
