@sam8808 : Some where on the dgca site says that the BE-76 VT-ejr is down for a cracked NLG issue.
If i find the link will post it here, though chances are remote, I avoid that website like the plague, its always full of bad news & looks so depressing

I went to DGCA to raise this issue n discuss about it in open house but came to know that open house are not conducted these days. What is the reason for this no one cared to answer. But i still went to meet Mr. Vashisth and asked him about it. Whatever he told me i have already mentioned.
I tried to question him more but he said nothing more can be done or said on this.

you might want to mention your email id so that myself as well as others can write to you letters which you can forward to DGCA.
i am sorry but i don't know about Mr.vashist, isn't it Mr. dc sharma who handles licening?
i hope you receive a ton of emails which may result in positive outcome.

I will post my email id once i get to know a that a bunch of people are interested.
I would request them to write a letter mentioning their strong concern on this matter and asking for a resolution. Sign the letter, scan a copy and send it to me.
when you are done with this process Pm me i will give you my email id.
Folks, DGCA does not care if these rules made are helpful or not. they just are gonna make these ammendments FOR THE SAKE OF IT.
It is we, who represent , will bring to their notice that the how it is going to effects us. The same like the FDTL rule. Unless pilots represented, nothing was changed.

I have 4.6 hrs on the 76 and I get this news. Stalled my training on the twin since a week and trying to figure out whats happening. My school has nothing but a 76. Another school in the vicinity has a B58 but its 500-600 USD/hr which is way too much. I am ready to send a letter via harsh, but as of now I am just blank. I dont know if whether to fly a DA42/B58/PA34 or to wait and continue on the 76. I dont wanna deal with a lot of paper work by changing schools, updating TSA paperwork etc. Please keep us updated.

Wat about guys going for recency ?
I have flown about 25hrs on the Duchess to get my CPL Multi-Engine FAA. If now that its removed.
Can I fly just any twin for my recency ?
@harsh786techy ne of my friend just submitted his Docs for issue of CPL after the receny on a BE-76. He got his Indian CPL[IR,Multi] with no issues wat so ever.
You should check if that was the reason why u got rejected ?

i am already rated on BE76 back in 2010...i went to dgca to ask about IR renewal on BE76...so that is where they denied it..
@Ashish...The guy who recently got it endorsed must have applied before all this even started..If not we can quote him as an example, but you know it will be risking his license...
@Issues...stop ur traiining on 76 and get started with seneca
Anywaz..we need to get an official report on which we can discuss and then revert to dgca.

I am also affected by this. I will ring DGCA tomorrow. I am not in India atm. We don't know any DGCA rep who has the power to amend such rules. I am not sure if Mr. Vashishth has that power. If we can't find any powerful and understanding person in the DGCA, we will start planning external action on this. Harsh are you in Delhi?

Umang your post has absolutely no connection with the topic. Start a new thread or search the forum for RT related issues
Back on topic , Vashisht handles the processing but when it comes to making decisions he does not have a say in it. I think Sharma in charge of DTL maybe a better bet.
The guys in licensing have their heads up their a$$. Why cant they put some people with aviation experience instead of some IAS clerk.

Quite a few days ago, i remembered visiting the website moca.gov.in which is the website for ministry of civil aviation, And this link was also published in DGCA website (other site on bottom right) but i couldn't see it any more and the website is no longer active. The reason for this because, I observed that there was a Post and an officer assigned exquisitely for handling public grievances related to all departments i.e DGCA, Airindia, Pawanhanse etc. to figure out a solution. if any body could through some light on this, may be we should get out of this situation faster and effectively, and yeah i do agree with harsh786techy and also request him to forward a letter or copy to aforesaid persons as well to get a suitable response.
@harsh786techy do you want me to forward a letter to you or post it directly to DGCA, as i am also willing to write on this.
@cyril FB-M?

@Harsh
Does it matter if I fly a Seneca 2 or it has to be specifically seneca 5?
This whole thing is taking too long for me and I am really at the point where I desperately wanna go home and not waste time and money here. Only if we had good training in India and GA existed. I wish we could give up DGCA and have FAA take over or something.

I would request everyone who is willing to represent please write a letter and send a signed scanned copy to me.
if someone wants to post it directly to DGCA can do so, but i believe a number of application for one One Issue at the same time might work better.
I will make my email available once a bunch of people are ready.
I live in delhi.
