Yes. They are evaluating the applications from last time. Hopefully some good news for some of us.

Hi Guys,
At the current moment i don't think SIA is going to recruit people from India. As of the current news, SIA has excess FO asking them to go on Voluntary No Pay Leave. They r only gonna hire 60 cadets a yr from now on till a furthur date. which they will be able to from local singaporeans. Ony when the numbers are above 100 they start hiring from overseas. If you go to SIA website they have stopped recruiting. I know its bad news for all aspiring guys out there. Just pray that economy recovers and they start hiring so that you guys have a chance.
A trusted source from Singapore.

@boeing_pilot
What about the few people who have already cleared their 2nd round interview and medicals and are waiting to sign their contract with SIA to start training. Do you think even they will not be called?

Yeah even those who cleared everything and waiting to sign the contract. Everything is stalled at the moment. Priority is always for the locals in Singapore. Only when they need more as mentioned earlier then they start hiring from India. There are many Singaporeans who cleared everything and waiting as well.
But don't let down your hopes. Hope for the best.
