DGCA CPL EXAM IMPORTANT ASSISTANCE
Greetings,
1. I want to know whether I could give the three exams nav, regulation and met beforehand going for training abroad so I don't have to face recency issues, is it possbile to do so? If yes, please let me know the required informaion for it.
2. Also, is it possible if I clear CPL DGCA theory exams first, complete my flight training abroad and I don't have to give the composite and regulation exam when I choose to concert foreign license to DGCA.
If not, please advice me with your respectable knowledge acquired regarding best thing to do before going to abroad for CPL training and licence conversion plans.
I've raised this question solely on the rumors I've heard that one can give these exams before going to abroad so when one returns for conversion, one doesnt has to face recency issues. Thank you.

briefly,pass your class1,nav,regs,met,rt before going abroad.come back pass your skills and convert your license.plan and budget for your type rating as well. nb: plenty of related data here,use search.

Yes, sir. I do understand this. But, I have this query. Should I choose CPL as a category when I fill up the form and tick these following three subjects?
In short. I'll give these three subjects exams under CPL category.Would DGCA consider that when I try to convert my license to dgca, because I have noticed there is a different category which is CPLGC for conversion for foreign license for which the two exams are named composite.

Hi,
can someone say me what is the validity period of the CPLG papers(av met, air nav and air regs) that is given before going to abroad for flying? Some say it is 30 months and some say it is 5 years. I am confused. The CAR rules confuse me much coz if the results of air nav, air regs and av met is accepted before going to flying why it is not mentioned in the CAR rules. They only have provided the validity of composite and air regs written after coming to India.

@hemant: 'separate' papers are valid for 5yrs.'composite' papers are valid for 2.5yrs.but why are you breaking your head on this?? hope you are not confusing 'recency' with this.'recency' is in reference to Flight Hours required in 6 months period.
