take care, he is gonna try to destroy the environment and life quality you have, and usually keeps pushing people to the wrong directions, does not understand about safety at all. He was a disaster to his previous company, and was unanimous among people here that he is an idiot, good talking to his superiors....

be careful

Mark Br**n

Mark Br**n will surely be watched over.

Some pilots already knows his history from SAMA. the Saudi Arabian low cost carrier.

As to why he got on board 5J is anybody's guess.

The saga continues.........any kermit the frog news???

Beautiful!!!!

3 ATR's stacked over Boracay, 1 ATR on the ramp on a quick-turn, clear skies, sun sinking over the horizon followed by a collage of bright colors......BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!

Expat ATR Jobs

Has anyone heard or been sent to the sim for a job on the ATR recently? The company say they are hiring but the agency is rather slow in responding??

How are things in Cebu, ATR9&10 still arriving before the end of the year?

Thanks in advance.

A questions for insiders

Can anyone working for Cebu Pacific can answer me that???

I have 3500 TT, 1700 on ATR42/72's and a little over 500 PIC on type.

Will I be considered for an interview or do they require more experienced pilots???

Thank you

Mnl-Syd on a A320, well I can only congratulate the Pilots. Its going to be a very good international exposure, very nice layover too. But for the passengers, that one will be tough, given a stop over darwin, still with not so much space to move on, it will be very uncomfortable for them to even consider buying your tickets. Unless ticket price is comparable to a one way trip to Cebu( no debate here).

Question for the Flight crew, What kind of Rest scheme are you going to apply for this kind of operation? Any ETOPS considerations for the 320s?

Based on experience, this sector is best suited on a wide body aircraft, both for the flightcrews/CC/ and passengers.

No hirings for the 320. MPLers are filling up the bottom half. new entry level will be F/O ATR, which is now filled up until options are exercised late next year or upgraders move to the left, whichever comes first. Looking for atr captain applicants now.

Yes, but only on a voluntary basis. Now whether there are enough volunteers to fill the necessary slots...

Airbus Press release

From Airbus website, for accuracy's sake:

Cebu Pacific increases outstanding A320 orders to 15

"Cebu Pacific increases outstanding A320 orders to 15
16 June 2009

Cebu Pacific of the Philippines has increased its outstanding A320 orders to 15, with a new firm order for five aircraft. Scheduled for delivery from 2013, the new aircraft will join an existing A319 and A320 fleet flying on the low cost carrier's extensive domestic and regional route network. The initial batch of 10 aircraft is scheduled for delivery between 2010 and 2013.

"The A320 Family has played a key role in enabling us to offer a high quality, value-based product," said Lance Gokongwei, President and CEO of Cebu Pacific. "Our latest order will make it possible for us to maintain our expected growth pattern over the coming years. It will also help us to continue our network expansion to reach more destinations across the region."

"We are pleased that Cebu Pacific has once again placed a vote of confidence in the A320 Family," said John Leahy, Airbus Chief Operating Officer - Customers. "By placing orders today, the airline is ensuring that it will be well positioned to build on its success with the most modern, efficient and comfortable single aisle product available in the market."

Manila-based Cebu Pacific is one of the leading low cost carriers in Asia, flying to 46 domestic and international destinations. Altogether, the carrier has now placed firm orders for 27 A320 Family aircraft, with 12 already delivered. The carrier currently operates 21 aircraft from the Family, including nine leased aircraft, with an average age for the fleet of just 1.9 years.

The A320 Family is recognised as the benchmark single-aisle aircraft family. Over 6,300 have already been sold and almost 3,900 delivered to more than 300 customers and operators worldwide."
