Sri Lankan Cadet program

Gday dudes

Just wondering what the cadet programs like.
What kind of training do you undergo?
Which endorsements do you get in the end (A320?) ?
Where is the training undertaken?
How many pilots do they usually take in during every intake?
How long does each batch take to graduate?

any help will be much appreciated
thanks and merry xmas newagebird

When??

Newagebird,

From what i've heard, the theory training is undertaken in Sri Lanka and simulator training in Singapore. The number of pilots taken in each intake varies. There has not been a set number recently. On average it takes about 9 -12 months to complete the training. As for the other questions, I'm not so sure. Hope this info was helpful.

But at the moment, I think the most important question is when Sri Lankan is going to advertise for cadets again???

This time

All the prospective Cadet applicants,
Dont waste your time. If you read the add this time carefully , cadets were given plenty of time to apply, thats entirley for their Own couple of guys to come and convert the license and aplly. So this time too its been fixed,,,, so might as well look for other avenues,,,
I met a Senior Capt in a Far Eastern Airport and he told me that the Airline is lining up to take Three Highly infuential Cadets who are still in Overseas finishing their IR,, so whats the point ..... Good Luck for the rest of the guys as well Forget about Srilankannnnn....
Last week again they have applied for ATPL holders for Junior First officers, so They will superseed the cadets this time,,,,,
