FTA Adelaide indigo cadet program

Does anyone have idea about the topics to be covered for the testing especially physics ? Is it the same as international pathway syllabus. FTA program does not disclose the program.

I'm interested in the program too. They announced partnership with FTA Adelaide in 2017 . You can get detailed note on their website . It's a 14-15 weeks program less duration when compared with other indigo cadet programs. They are assessing the application now and will begin online testing selection procedure by January 2018. The cost structure is detailed and quoted on their site about near around 95 lacs including the license conversion program in Hyderabad. But the only problem is they don't disclose the sample questions and syllabus is vast English physics maths from 12th STD. It would be grateful if syllabus and topics are asked from the first batch of FTA. Eagerly waiting for your reply dude.

The first batch of the indigo cadets have finished their ground school and are in the flying phase. Most of them will probably go solo next week and as for the second batch, it's been 1-3 weeks (I forgot) since they arrived and are currently in ground school.

I only know the first batch of the indigo cadets and all of them seemed to enjoy the training here in FTA. No matter what race your are, everyone is treated equally. They made a lot of friends with the Australians from the VET course and made some with the Cathay cadets as well. I've never heard any complain from them about the training as of right now.

I know it's been a month and I just replied so I'm really sorry as I'm busy. I had asked one of my friends (Indigo Cadets) regarding the interview. He basically applied to two places, CAE and FTA. When he did the interview for the CAE, he was asked basic things like why do you want to become a pilot and so on and he was asked some technical questions like fly by wire, adverse yaw, some stuff about the A320 but he didn't know what those things mean so the interviewers asked him have you read the book (I'm not sure what book is he referring to) and my friend said no so he thinks that he did bad with the interview and so he read the book and go for the FTA interview. For the whole 25 minutes more or less he was asked all technical kinds of questions and the good thing is all of the questions that they asked were in the first 40 pages of the book that he read which is why he could answer all of the technical questions and passed the interview. I hope this helps. Good luck to all of you!

Hello, hope you are in verge of finishing CPL.
Did you give any entrance exam for getting selected to this program or only the interview ? Please tell us what book are you referring.

Thank you

Hi everyone.
I just registered for FTA exams which will be held somewhere in june 2019. Brushing up my 11th and 12th physics and maths. It would be great if those who went through the various rounds could share their experience. The difficulty level of the written exam (especially English), PILAPT and the group activity and personal interview.
What basis do they eliminate people in GD PI (if you could figure it out).
