Transfer of logbook hours from NZ to India without looking license?

Hello folks,

Greetings from kiwi land. I'm an aspiring pilot undergoing training in one of the flight schools in NZ. I have logged around 80hrs of flight time, in time for my PPL check ride.

Due to unavoidable financial difficulties, I may have to return home to India. Will the 80hrs I've logged, count towards my CPL hour building in India, if I pursue this again in the future?
Does the DGCA recognize hours logged in foreign countries or only a foreign license?

Any help on this matter would be deeply appreciated. In dire need of some sound advice.

Cheers...
