I believe so. It looks like you will not be able to submit your application if you leave the fields blank.
May I ask when did you submit your application? Are they inviting you to attend an interview already?
I submitted mine on June 13, and I got an email from L3 saying that they will email me the application result mid August.

Anyone received either one of below emails from L3 within these few days?
1) Your application is unsuccessful
2) Your application is waiting for further review and it mentions the dates of selection event
Btw, I just login the application page and there is a change in my status. For screening, it changes from "Under Review" to blank

Got an email to complete the application before the 21st or I'd be cut, and so I did. Didn't hear from them til yesterday asking for my Hong Kong Permanent ID, around the same time my status went from under review to just blank! So I'm keen to hear from them quite soon.
Also, from this thread, am I to assume that Skytest UK testing will be the best practice measure considering it was what dragonair used?
Cheers guys!
