Air Costa Trainee Pilots.
Hi,
Does anyone here know the status of trainee pilots who were recruited by Air Costa in March 2014. Have they started flying ?
Also, where were they sent for their type rating and how much did they have to pay for the type rating ?

The following is mostly second hand information so take what you believe from it
Some pilots have been inducted . Some are waiting to be sent as and when newer aircraft arrive
Type rating earlier was with JATC in Jordan . They have now shifted to a new TRTO in Bahrain
Type rating costs is 35 lakhs .
You will be paid 40,000 rupees per month from day one which is from the day you pay the type rating cost .
During type rating in Bahrain you will be paid an additional allowance of 50$ per day in addition to the basic pay of 40,000 rupees a month
