Rejected from Cathay just received a new email
Hello all,
I applied for Second Officer at Cathay in May last year, got a reply in July and did my interview in August. I didn't pass the interview and got a rejection letter shortly after. Today, I received a new email from Cathay with a greeting:
'Dear Candidates'
followed by
'Thank you for your interest in applying for a position as a Second Officer with Cathay Pacific Airways.'
with attached declaration and medical forms for me to fill in before 28 Jan.
I haven't applied for a second time so I'm wondering why I got this email. Anyone else get this?

lol I would keep my mouth shut but I wouldn't want to fill in the forms for them to tell me they're deeply sorry that it was a mistake.
Should I email them back and ask? What should I say?

I think your application reapplied after 12months... I don't know, not sure.
Also I don't think they are desperately because they recently extended the retirement age, and many younger pilots are looking to leave. That's what I m told from a friend who just graduated from the cadet program a few years ago.
