People from General Category who couldnt get through dont mind as you were not able to pull the ranks from PMO office.I know the brightest and smartest people couldnt make it because they didnt understand the trignometry of affairs in govnt office.

Written was fair and people were filtered there but interview one need to be smart and should know the right way of doing things.

Approaches were more than the no of seats.

Happy landings

Just out of curiosity, where did you the find the number of the arc office from?

I have tried calling, but it doesn't seem to get through.

What kind of planes do these guys fly? Where do they do training?

Fixed Reserve-

The number still works just dial the desired extention.

Type of aircrafts -
One starts with B200
after 2 years AN32/IL 76
Gulfstream depends upon your performance.

If one is really interested in flying and want to learn a lot of stuff besides flying then its a great organisation. Its not a normal government 9 to 5 job just fly your sortie and back home.Once needed they will calll you but lots of courses and stuff which inturn will help you to be a learned person.

Police salutes you.

People respect you.

Bond is negotoable(15 years/30 lakhs).

Now a days lots of flying and they are deficient of pilots.

Thats all from my side

And all those people couldnt make it use RTI tools to see your marks and compare it with others who got in and you will be able to see the disparity.

But dont mind you might get a call as they are planning to increase the intake again.
So lets see how much will it be 40----20---11---lets see.

Cheers

"Police salutes you."
Could'nt care less. I would rather prefer flying a modern jetliner.

"People respect you"
Are you saying that airline pilots are not respected in India?

"Bond is negotoable(15 years/30 lakhs)"
Heard different versions about the bond from different people.

"Now a days lots of flying and they are deficient of pilots."
Heard from someone who joined that they have like 9 f/o's and 1 capt. for their B200, each f/o gets to fly a few hours every month. And by the way as you said who ever gets selected starts of on the B200. As far as I know there are about 2 batched still training and then there is this batch in 2010. So potentially have about 30 pilots for 1 B200?

And any Idea what are the future plans of this organisation. Are they getting more aircrafts? And whats the pay like?

I got my letter yesterday!

Looks like we might have to wait 1-2 months for the formalities/verification. That is standard procedure when joining government service.

Just had a look at the ARC complex at IGI (south of RW28 threshold), and there is an interesting mix of aircraft on display.

2xB-707 and 2xIL-76. There are also three smaller twins - one looks like a G-III/IV, another one seems to be a HS748, and the other a B200.
