hi guys, I failed my 2nd interview in 2006. Now I want to become a pilot again but i have worked for 6 years in an unrelated job to aviation. Can i reapply for interview or I have to take my own PPL to apply again? In this six years i have been saving up money for PPL.
So now I wanted to ask you guys what are the updates in reapplying after 6 years? Thanks!
got news from a trusted source that the intakes are beginning in april. time is nearing. So lets make this thread alive again.
would like to know in short the avg duration from the 1st interview till the time they would ask you to resign from the current job. Anyone pls shed some light on this.
Good to know passionate.aviator that days are nearing for intake Is there anyway I can apply for cadet pilot trainee now? or should we need to wait until ad posted on SIA site to apply?
thanks. Applied last year and went for interviews. Hopefully will be selected. Just waiting very anxiously. Anyway thanks alot. Your little info here and there means alot to us. =)
You've already passed the 2nd interview last year and they ask u to wait till this year? I don't get it. I am planning to apply for the cadet program this year. It means people like us will have a slimmer chance?

I went thru both last year. So have waited since. I am not too sure about the quota issue. But if I may, my take is don be too worried over it and apply when you are ready to make flying as your career. Importantly is you must have the passion and determination to get you thru all stages. All the best!
