anyone knows how long does it take for the job portal to remove the withdrawn application?

I've clicked withdrawn almost more than 6 months ago, but the application is still not deleted and i cannot apply for the same position (ground crew)

Might have to give them a call and it should be pretty easy for them to remove it for you.

reapplying after failing 2nd interview

hi guys, I failed my 2nd interview in 2006. Now I want to become a pilot again but i have worked for 6 years in an unrelated job to aviation. Can i reapply for interview or I have to take my own PPL to apply again? In this six years i have been saving up money for PPL.

So now I wanted to ask you guys what are the updates in reapplying after 6 years? Thanks!

Is there anyway I can apply for cadet pilot trainee now? or should we need to wait until ad posted on SIA site to apply?

With only 80 cadet pilot position up for grab, I won't be surprised if they will just clear the backlog of applications they already have...

Hi Flying Monkey,

how about Cargo and Silkair? Would the demand from there increase the intake thus opening up the career page? We've been waiting waiting anxiously.

80 cadet positions are for the entire SQ group, including Cargo and Silkair.

Next financial year is not looking good for cadet recruitment.

Hi tango81,

You've already passed the 2nd interview last year and they ask u to wait till this year? I don't get it. I am planning to apply for the cadet program this year. It means people like us will have a slimmer chance?

Do you mind enlightening me? Thanks

Hi

Hi quik12,

I went thru both last year. So have waited since. I am not too sure about the quota issue. But if I may, my take is don be too worried over it and apply when you are ready to make flying as your career. Importantly is you must have the passion and determination to get you thru all stages. All the best!
