TIF to PDF

Anyone have a good, simple, free utility to convert TIF files (scans from Microsoft Office Document Scanning) to PDF's? Need to convert several hundred files.
(Doggone TIF's were easy, but the format seems proprietary -- often not readable on another machine. Figures.)

The basic TIFF format is very universal, it's the various compression schemes that aren't. You'll find uncompressed TIFF is readable by most kit. But then you do have ridiculously large files.

Anyway, PrimoPDF and PDFCreator both do the job for me.
