Radix. Struggling to use my iPhone to do this. Can you expand on your reply? The friend's setup is 100% Apple. Set up on an iPad or MacAir if that helps. Is there some way I can change the settings...

WiFi network visible to iPhone not visible to laptop

Visiting a friend and can find and log on to his wi-fi without a problem with my iPhone but the network does not show up when I look for it with my Windows 8.1 laptop.
Anyone have any ideas on why?
