They are supposed to be looking for a route to fill the gap between the morning and evening BRU rotations or a even a midday BRU flight.

I think it would need a Norwegian based airline to attract them to NCL....SAS/Norwegian/Wideroe. Newcastle also had ferry services to Norway so there must have been a huge market.

It looks like one of the aircraft will be going to Newcastle to start the Brussels route next March. I can't understand why they left it a year, giving the routes regular passengers time to find...

I suppose they need to get settled in and established. We shall wait and see what new routes are to be announced. They did say previously that NCL would figure in this announcement.

That was my point...surely they will be investigating whether this a/c could be put to useful work out of NCL, otherwise it will have to be found work elsewhere.
