I don't buy it. So a pilot in a twin otter is more "diligent" than a pilot in a 777? Automation and warnings tend to be more prevalent...

There sure are a lot of words devoted to this subject here but the correct message is "keep your airplane maintained" and "don't rely on warning systems as to remind you to configure your airplane...
