As you say Haraka, I shudder to think about the noise levels of the bare engine!!

As I recall the seats in the B707 cockpit, the jump seat was behind the Cpt and was fixed, no adjustments at all. It would, however tilt forward to allow access to lwr 41 via the grate in the floor...
