Actually, thinking about it and re-reading G-INFO......because it's on there doesn't necessarily make it airworthy. He may have bought an airframe in bits similar to those being auctioned and stuck...

The ones I've seen are missing one minor component.....in the form of an engine. Not a cheap part to replace by any stretch of the imagination!!
