It's slightly cheaper than the normal ATPL route, considering the type rating is included in the price.

Also, while still not 100% guaranteed, it's a more secure way to be sure you'll have a job...

Essay questions fine. Virtually identical to the BA Cityflyer ones with FTE a couple of months ago, and after spending 4 years in Uni, 500 words really isn't much at all.
