Supposedly their are plans for a direct rail link...

Supposedly their are plans for a direct rail link from Southampton to Heathrow. I'd welcome this as a plane spotter, but would this possibly affect growth at SOU.

great price!, seems considerably cheaper than Flybe (not sure on their GVA prices).
With BEE taking out the EMBs, would EZ be able to operate the routes from SOU?, surely it's viable.

with this in mind if you foresaw that happening with airlines coming in, the terminal would definitely need an upgrade in size, it can be quite crowded as it is.

Austrian from INN

Circling aircraft

Has anyone got an explanation as to why there are currently 5/6 Flybe Dash 8's circling in and around Southampton airspace. Is this just late night traffic?, never seen it on such a scale.

I hope KLM increase to 3 or 4 daily, maybe they will start to vary on what they bring with the EMB's and F70's if they do increase flights. I think Wizzair or LOT should definitely atleast try...
