If in May 2016 they do get the go ahead and start direct flights to North America then that will be a game changer. More likely T7's will be utilised fully depending on the initial route they decide...

I thought so. What i have never understood is why don't the cadets do Jet orientation while in SA after completing their initial flight training rather than going to Kenya then back to SA. Saves alot...

Cheers for the info. Having said that conversion to K.E licence shouldn't take more than a month. I hear of up to 6 months time frame before Jet orientation. Are they still sending wannabes to Comair...

Having say that things may change sooner especially if they start flying new profitable routes. Bare in mind new fleets...
