It was a pretty minimalist helicopter and another of those tip driven ones that never seemed to catch on.
Don't suppose McDonnell were too worried, they had quite a good alternative...

It's a long forgotten pioneer but still exists, sat in the Helicopter Museum on Weston Super Mare airfield.
The connection with Weston being that Raoul Hafner become chief designer...
