That would be one uncomfortable ride - re-entry forces are rather uncomfortable when sitting in a seat specifically designed for it - without a proper seat it would downright suck.

Personally, I don't consider the NASA 'worm' logo retro - I simply consider it ugly. And it's not exactly retro, given the current logo is also the original NASA logo. The worm was someone's idea...
