It is a chicken and egg situation.
We had many years where the airport stagnated,then all of a sudden Paul Kehoe and his team bring route expansion never seen before...

Fishaman,the flights you speak of are mainly car parts for the JLR group.
Occasionally other freight may be brought in but it is mainly for the motor industry.

The usual EI schedule during the week uses a mix of A320(3 a day),and ATR's (2/3 a day).
There are variations,some days there is a fourth A320 in the evening and at weekends more ATR's are used....
