I dont know about type ratings, but for OCC some time back they used Hilton in the airport and Crowne Plaza in Crawley. Transportations were all covered from day 1. I don't think you got nightstop...

Not too long, couple of months maybe. Though must be said that I passed on the first date they offered for various reasons and the next one was about 4 months later.
