Over the next 12 months I think in my opinion:

BE reduce frequency on LGW or cut it altogether
EIR will arrive and launch new routes to Bristol, Edinburgh Cork and Liverpool?
BA maybe reduce...

I expect numbers at BHD will be down this year. manx2 seemed to have had a good year so far this year following the new timetable ! On another note did a BMI A321 operate tonight's BHD-LHR service ?

But when you think about it the BHD-LHR route is one of the most important routes in NI for business and leisure travellers and is also the most busy. So maybe it's a good idea to have 2 airlines...

Sorry but I find this is a bad move for EI. Look at the profitable year round routes that are going Tenerife, Heathrow and Lanzarote. And come on 10 flights a day now from BHD to LHR ? Hang on now...

If Aer Lingus start a regional base and not mainline could this mean that the European routes stay at BFS and let regional do BHD (except the LHR connection) could they do a double base operation ?
