Hi guys! can anyone shed some lights regarding upgrade time at Qatar? And being a 330 rated, which fleet will I be allocated at? 330 ? Any chance to get the 350?

Does anybody know if Qatar will ever hire NTR Fo's ( no boeing, airbus) again?? i've heard they shut it down for now! Anybody in the pool has been called without boeing or airbus experience??

Actually I did submit my app for both job posts, I have a total of 4apps actually if you count the old links, I think the tap has closed for now ..:bored:

Well guys that's it for me... almost 5 months...

Well guys that's it for me... almost 5 months since I've applied for the NTR job gig.. 3 different apps and status ''new'' ! I have more than 2500 hours jet time over 50 tons and not even a email...

I got status ''new'' since feb... they have a bunch of candidates everyday with Boeing and Airbus experience..and even for these guys things are moving pretty slow after they've been up...

has anybody without a Boeing or Airbus rating, been called to the NTR job position? Mine still says new, i got just over 2000 hours on 50 tons plus jet.

makes me curious to see qatar hiring 320 rated fo's to the triple seven, 2 different types.. so again…why they aren't hiring non type rated Fo's once for all, as i hear the pass ratio for Fo's are...

If Qatar is hiring to the 787 without a boeing rating what's the point ???? Unless this guy had a boeing rating a non type rated pilot would be bonded the same way as a 320 guy…makes no sense at...

Well..that could be a gateway for those non type rated..but i think this is just a move from qatar in order to get airbus to reduce price on the A319's or 20's for 'em ..:cool:

Well, it seems the aviation authority in Qatar does require you to have 500 hours on type in order to convert it back to a Qatari license, that's what've been told..that's why Qatar asks for it ..

very bad news for those with more than 1000 hours...

very bad news for those with more than 1000 hours on jet and no TR... It all comes down to the A320 TR at the end of the day.
