Ah yes, the good old days when we paid £400 for day returns to London, £600 for Paris and Amsterdam and when we had next to no choice on departure days if you wanted to go somewhere for a holiday....

It would be interesting to see statistically how many people choose a flight based on the type of aircraft and those instances where type is more important than times, prices and perks such FF miles...

I honestly don't know why people twist at flying a Q400. I commute by A319/320 and Q400 and find the Q400 to be almost exactly same as Airbus.

There's more space, and the head rest actually...
