ya I did read it correctly. I have never had my iphone download an update without first asking if I accept the terms and conditions. just saying what I have experienced.

I have never had a software update do it automatically, over 3G or wifi I have always had to click to accept, and definately click to accept new terms and conditions before the update would commence,...

the problem being that it won't belong until apps...

the problem being that it won't belong until apps are upgraded and require ios 8 to work. at that point I you haven't updated or are unable your phone becomes a paper weight.
