Can anyone confirm that the Aviation mathematics test is not a multi-choice test and that we have to submit an answer?

That should not be a problem. Because the same form says you need fulfill all the requirements before you are inducted in the AE training in case you don't meet the requirements. So...

You don't have to concern yourself about those mails you had mentioned. You re fine. They are people who had re-applied at Cathay s request. They are yet to do the stage 1.
