Airports that had a strong interest in a Jet2 base in recent years were Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Liverpool and London-Southend.

Well Jet2 did try to open a base at SEN in 2012 but the airport could not accommodate them at that time. What's to say they wouldn't try again in the future? There's a big holiday market from SEN...
