why is it easier for a New Zealand airline to fly within OZ than an OZ airline ?

just found out, it's much easier for a New Zealand airline to start flying in OZ (under NZ CAA rules) than an Australian airline to fly domestically in OZ.

QF is heading down Holdens part.

Not sure if the following is true (was emailed this, last night) but Qantas/Ansett were simply cost plus airlines until deregulation, which no longer works.

doubt if ff programme is actually worth anything without QF international.

OK, it's a database of 10 million email addresses of which probably 1/2 to 3/4 (wild guess) are active regular flyers.

Will JQ take over many of QF routes, eg. JQ using 787's operating BNE-SYD-MEL/LAX.
