I hope there's a zero missing from Flybe's 30% ... 11 routes on top of the ATR's to Groningen and Rennes should treble the BE numbers.

737-800

My understanding is that landing distance is as much the issue as T/O. The big wing on the '800 gives it a lot of 'float'. Ryanair generally want 2000m minimum.

SEN - Ryanair

Even more important is de-rated engines allow FR to declare lower MTOW's and so attract lower ATC and weight-related landing charges. Rules out SEN for most of their fleet too.
