My Father drew up and built a 1/12th scale flying model of the Sparrow in the mid 60's. It flew , but with a tendency to go into spiral instability which ended most flights.

G-AISC was indeed owned by Fairey in the early 60's and also got taken over by Westlands funnily enough, being subsequently based at Compton Abbas in North Dorset with the Wagtail Flying Group...
