Re EMA - stansted is 2 hours and 40 mins away can't see that effect the EMA ops but BHX is a competitor will have to see how well Jet2 works out at BHX.

Does anyone know what aircraft will be based at East Midlands for S16? few months back they said they would be basing larger aircraft at MAN, LBA & EMA. Not sure if that meant replacing the 737-300's...

G-CELW will be operating tonight's Royal Mail flight BFS-EMA-BFS then returning to Exeter for Monday, does anyone know where G-GDFE has gone that was the usual aircraft used on that route for months...

Yeah it's Royal Mail who pays for the routes to be operated I just doubt Royal Mail would drop the Exeter route which seems to do well and go out almost full every night, G-CELW would be better...

I take it Exeter has been taken up by another airline then because its full most of the time, would make sense moving G-CELW to BFS the aircarft is also always full

Now Jet2 have got 1 757-200, 1 737-800 & 1 737-300 currently based at EMA what else will join at the base in May a 757-200, 737-800 or a 737-300? thanks

I load the jet2 QC aircraft at east midlands, the contract expires with royal mail expires in 2014, the last flight on weekdays is usually around 01:30 outbound so I'd say the aircraft are returned...

Jet2's expansion has been great for Ema starting...

Jet2's expansion has been great for Ema starting with 9 flights a week on a single 757, 3/4 years on 4 a/c with i belive 43 flights a week? correct if im wrong :)
