Makes me laugh at the herd mentality here:}....1000 typed 737 pilots ..hardly 50-100 can get absorbed that too with some high level contacts .....what if they get an offer sometime later from indigo...

guess they are done with type rated guys for now...most of them were crap only 4 passed the sim checks rest were shown the door(what i've heard on some forum here),,so i guess they should come out...

yeah it will pretty much be ....only if hiring starts at a fervious pace will the airlines be forced to pay for the type(which they by the way get free from the manufacturer at 25 tp per aircraft)...

even i got the same offer from an agent 35 lacks for the contract mentioned by jimmi ....well 25 lack for type rating is too much for an 737 old gen plane....i knw a reputed center that will do it...
