Admittedly, I have only around 800 hrs on the PA28 range. About half that on the PA32.
The majority of my experience has been on other types. I'll just keep plugging away.

It's acceptable to answer a question with PASS. It's not Mastermind. There's nothing to be gained by answering GARBAGE.

I've never extended flaps in a PA28 when downwind, and I've never used 1st stage for anything except take-off. I'm genuinely interested to know why it's done.
